Nov 21, 2019 Perfect IP Camera Viewer is an easy-to-use yet powerful video surveillance software. With this program, you can monitor IP cameras directly from the window of your computer. Remote monitoring through Internet and PTZ control are also supported. P2 Viewer Plus Ver2.3.27.3 P2 and AVCCAM Viewing (Win) Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 (Mac) macOS Mojave, macOS High Sierra, macOS Sierra, OS X El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Mac OS X Lion (Mac) P2 Driver software and Card Formatter software.

Just a quick update, after a long and interesting discussion with Samsung / Hanwha Techwin's European technical department over the last month.
Unfortunately, the Samsung product range currently is unsupported by the latest iteration of Mac OS X, El Capitan. This has been tested with an SNO-L6013R, SNO-L6083R and an SNV-L6083R.

When trying to view your camera via Safari, you will receive one of two errors:

1. The Live View box will simply be an empty frame, with no video feed and the words 'Plugin Failed' in the centre
   
2. When attempting to install the appropriate plugin when prompted to do so by the camera, installation will fail as El Capitan is not a supported OS X version by the plugin.

The feedback from our HQ confirms that our product is not currently compatible with OS EI Capitan although an improved FW is anticipated for release in October/November.

Many of our customers have been able to generate a usable MJPEG stream, so I'd encourage you try and use MJPEG if viewing your Samsung camera via Safari on a Mac is necessary. Otherwise, the future firmware update should resolve the issue.

Check compatibility

You can upgrade to OS X El Capitan from OS X Snow Leopard or later on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 8.8GB of available storage space.

To find your Mac model, memory, storage space, and macOS version, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu . If your Mac isn't compatible with OS X El Capitan, the installer will let you know.

Get connected

It takes time to download and install OS X, so make sure that you have a reliable Internet connection. If you're using a Mac notebook computer, plug it into AC power.

Download OS X El Capitan

For the strongest security and latest features, find out whether you can upgrade to macOS Catalina, the latest version of macOS.

If you still need OS X El Capitan, use this link: Download OS X El Capitan. A file named InstallMacOSX.dmg will download to your Mac.

Install the macOS installer

Double-click the downloaded file to open a window showing its contents. Then double-click the file within, named InstallMacOSX.pkg.

Follow the onscreen instructions, which will guide you through the steps necessary to install.

Begin installation

After installation of the installer is complete, open the Applications folder on your Mac, then double-click the file named Install OS X El Capitan.

Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. You might find it easiest to begin installation in the evening so that it can complete overnight, if needed.

Allow installation to complete

Please allow installation to complete without putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac might restart, show a progress bar, or show a blank screen several times as it installs both OS X and related updates to your Mac firmware.
